(RV) Huntington Dominates Saint Francis in League Clash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The #RV Huntington women's tennis team delivered a dominant performance Tuesday afternoon, sweeping the University of Saint Francis 7–0 in Crossroads League action at Wildwood Racquet Club in Fort Wayne. 

The Foresters set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the opening point and take immediate control. The pairings of Yariange Bello/Ashley Bucur, Isabella Herrera/Addison Mast and Coby Sander Sofia Kuschmarska each earned convincing wins, allowing Huntington to carry strong momentum into singles play. 

Huntington continued its commanding performance in singles, winning all six courts in straight sets to complete the shutout. Herrera led the way at the top of the lineup with a solid 6–1, 6–3 victory at No. 1 singles, while Bello followed with a decisive 6–1, 6–0 win at No. 2. 

Mast, Bucur and Sander dominated their respective matches, each earning 6–0, 6–0 shutouts. Macy Felger rounded out the sweep with a 6–1, 6–1 victory at No. 6. 

With the victory, Huntington goes to 7-9 overall, 1-1 in CL action. Next up for the Foresters, they will take on the No. 10 Marian University Knights on the road in Indianapolis on Friday, with first serve set for 4:00 p.m.
