(RV) Huntington Runs Up Against Tough (13) Cumberlands Squad
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. - The #RV Huntington women's tennis team wrapped up its spring break trip with a 4–0 loss to the #13 Cumberlands Friday afternoon in Kentucky in a non-conference matchup.
Cumberlands claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles before action was halted on the second court. In singles play, the Patriots secured victories on courts two through five to clinch the match and secure the shutout.
With the result, Huntington moves to 6–7 overall on the season. The Foresters return to action next Saturday afternoon when they travel to Oakland City University, with first serve scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
