Foresters Roll Past IU Kokomo, Battle Against Davenport
Kokomo and Huntington, Ind.- The Huntington University women's tennis team split a pair of matches on Saturday, earning a dominant 6–1 win at Indiana University Kokomo in the morning before returning home for a competitive afternoon matchup against NCAA Division II Davenport University.
HU opened the day with complete control in Kokomo, sweeping all three doubles courts to secure the opening point. The Foresters then carried that momentum into singles play, taking five of six matches in straight sets.

Isabella Herrera, Tiziana Rizzato, Ashley Bucur, Coby Sander, and Ava Christiansen each notched singles victories.

Grace Meyer narrowly dropped a third-set super tiebreaker for HU's only setback of the match.
In the afternoon, Huntington hosted Davenport for a challenging non-conference test. Despite several tight battles, the Foresters came up short in a 7–0 loss to the NCAA Division II Panthers.

Tiziana Rizzato pushed both sets to tiebreaks, while Isabella Herrera, Addison Mast, and Yariange Bello each played competitive openers.

Bucur and Sander also showed strong fight in doubles and singles action against a talented Panther lineup.
