HU deadlocks with IUSB 0-0

LAKEVILLE, Ind.  – The HU women's soccer team dominated play at Newton Park Wednesday afternoon but never found back netting in a 0-0 draw against IU South Bend.

Lewis' crew fired off 15 shots in the first 45 minutes to no avail and then logged seven more in the second period to keep their hosts on the defensive most of the day. Of HU's 22 shots, 14 were on frame.  The Titans finished with eight shots, four in each frame, with only three on target which HU keeper Ireland Aerni tracked down.

Paige Weiss led Huntington with seven shots, four on goal, while Katie Hooley and Sophie Shepherd each posted four.

With this tie, the Foresters are 1-1-1 on the season. Next up is a short trip up the road next Wednesday to face Manchester at 4:30 p.m.
