Max Robrock joins the Foresters as a student assistant, bringing hands-on experience and an energetic presence to the HU softball program. A freshman Forestry major at Huntington University, Max is eager to grow in his role both on and off the field.

A graduate of Huntington North High School, Max competed as a catcher and now transitions into supporting HU’s catchers as he learns the nuances between softball and baseball.

Max’s primary responsibility will be maintaining the beautiful HU softball field, using the skills he developed as the owner of local small business Robrock Lawn and Tree. His strong work ethic and attention to detail extend beyond the field—Max’s favorite hobby is climbing and cutting trees, a passion that further sharpens his craftsmanship and comfort working outdoors.

Full of energy and enthusiasm, Max is already making an impact. Coach Averill is excited to channel that passion as Max helps build and strengthen the foundation of the HU softball program.
