Mollenkopf named Crossroads League Pitcher of the Week
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore Kinzie Mollenkopf went 3-0 in the circle for HU, firing 20 innings and not yielding an earned run last week and for her efforts was voted the Crossroads League Pitcher of the Week.
The Logansport native allowed just three hits and one unearned tally, while striking out 21 and posting a 0.40 WHIP. Most notable was her no-hitter against Olivet Nazarene on Monday as part of the Space Coast Games where she surrendered just one walk and an unearned run while striking out four.
Mollenkopf and crew are off to a hot start to their season, currently boasting a 7-1 record.
