Foresters Place Eighth at Crossroads League Championships 

Marion, Ind. — The HU women's cross country team finished eighth at the Crossroads League Championships on Saturday with a team score of 207 points. 

Senior Molly Harding led the Foresters with a 26th-place finish in a time of 22:57.9, followed closely by Shaylynn Reyes in 34th at 23:09.0. Rounding out HU's scoring five were Olivia Howell (44th, 23:39.9), Mackenzie Brewer (50th, 23:57.0) and Lily Spaulding (53rd, 24:08.1). Amelia Strzechowski (56th, 24:17.3) and Vada Valastek (65th, 27:16.4) also competed for the Foresters. 

Taylor University claimed the team title with 25 points, followed by Grace (73) and Marian (81). 

The Foresters wrapped up their 2025 fall season with the conference meet, and many team members will now turn their attention to the indoor track and field season, which kicks off on December 3. 

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 181 NAIA All-America honors and 631 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
