Foresters Place Two in Top 10 at Siena Heights Invitational
Adrian, Mich. - The Huntington University women's cross country team took on the 6,000-meter course at the Siena Heights Invitational, turning in a steady team effort highlighted by two top-10 finishes to place 5th out of 11 teams with 157 points.
Graduate student Shaylynn Reyes led the way for HU, clocking 23:41.4 to place 9th overall. Senior Molly Harding followed closely, earning 10th place with a time of 24:00.9.
The rest of the Forester scoring pack included Mackenzie Brewer (33rd, 24:58.3), sophomore Olivia Howell (36th, 25:04.0), and junior Lily Spaulding (47th, 25:51.3). Senior Amelia Strzechowski (48th, 25:51.6), sophomore Vada Valastek (80th, 29:21.4), and freshman Lily Hegenberger (89th, 30:30.3) rounded out the lineup.
With Reyes leading the charge and several Foresters returning to the lineup, Huntington pieced together a solid finish that highlighted their depth as a team.

The Foresters will compete in the Ray Bullock Invitational on October 10th at Taylor University.
