USTFCCCA Recognizes Forester Track & Field for Academic Excellence

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Huntington University men's and women's track & field programs once again proved their commitment to excellence in the classroom as both teams earned 2026 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors.

In addition, six Foresters were recognized as USTFCCCA All-Academic Individuals.

The USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards recognize collegiate programs and student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence both academically and competitively throughout the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.

The Forester women posted a 3.50 cumulative team GPA, while the men recorded a 3.12 GPA. To qualify for All-Academic Team honors, programs must achieve a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0.

Huntington also placed three men and three women on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual list. To earn the distinction, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 while also meeting an NAIA championship qualifying standard (A or B) during the indoor or outdoor season.

Representing the Forester men were Jan Busam, Celestin Trambloy and Lance Wyrick.

Earning recognition for the Huntington women were Molly Harding, Trysta Hilton and Shaylynn Reyes.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 19 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 192 NAIA All-America honors and 698 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations.
