Chelsea Dourson became an assistant coach for the Forester women’s soccer program in the fall of 2024 with a primary focus on working with keepers.

Dourson brings a wealth of coaching success to the position having most recently guided the Canterbury High School girls soccer program to back-to-back IHSAA Class 1A State Runner-Up finishes. Both runs earned her Indiana Soccer Coaches Association District Coach of the Year praises.

Dourson’s ten-year coaching tenure prior to HU also included a stop at her alma mater Shelbyville High School as well as Shelbyville and Canterbury Middle Schools.

A graduate of Franklin College, Dourson was an accomplished four-year starting keeper for the Grizzlies. She graduated in 2011 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. She also holds an MA in Youth Ministries from Asbury Theological Seminary. Dourson is a first grade teacher at Canterbury.
