Bio

Patrick Davis enters his sixth season leading the Huntington University women’s golf program, having taken over as head coach in the spring of 2022 after two seasons as an assistant. Now the third head coach in program history since its inception in 2015, Davis has helped elevate the Foresters into a steadily rising presence in the NAIA.

Under his leadership, Huntington has earned national recognition for the first time in program history, receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches’ Poll. His student-athletes have collected five All-Conference honors, highlighted by the program’s first-ever First Team selection in Magnolia Miller, while also earning nine NAIA Scholar-Athlete distinctions.

Davis briefly led both programs during his tenure at HU, serving as interim head coach for the men’s team for two seasons before returning to an assistant role with the program this past fall.

A PGA professional with deep roots in the game, Davis currently serves as Head Golf Professional at Dogwood Glen Golf Course in Warren, Indiana. He previously spent six years as Director of Golf at Norwood Golf Course and five years as Head Golf Professional at LaFontaine Golf Club, building a strong reputation for player development and program management.

In addition to his work in club operations, Davis has provided private instruction for more than a decade and spent five years as an assistant coach at Huntington North High School.

A Huntington alumnus and former four-year member of the Forester golf program, Davis earned his bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design in 2008. He is a certified Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Instructor and continues to bring a player-centered approach to developing Forester golfers.
