COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Forester women's golf team closed the book on a historic season with a gritty showing at the Crossroads League Championships, held May 4-5 at Harrison Lake Country Club in Columbus.

After a slow start, HU bounced back in a big way on day two, firing a tournament-best 315 in round two to climb the leaderboard before settling into sixth place.

Magnolia Miller led the way for the Foresters, tying for 11th out of 45 golfers with a 234 (78-79-77), capping her tournament with her best round. Riley Kitson and Grace Dill provided steady depth, both tying for 23rd at 251, with Kitson carding rounds of 87-81-83 and Dill going 89-80-82.
