Foresters Capture Team Title at Saints Classic
After posting a 341 (+57) in the opening round, Huntington surged ahead on day two with a 10-stroke improvement, carding a 331 (+47) to seal the win.
Magnolia Miller led the Foresters with a two-day score of 160 (81-79), 18-over-par, to claim individual medalist honors, while Grace Dill matched Miller's closing-round 79 to finish close behind at 168 (89–79). Riley Kitson contributed solid rounds of 84 and 83 for a 167 total with all three earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Aniyah Copeland turned in a 177 (87-90) while Madelyn Weaver rounded out the lineup with a 179 (89-90).
Holy Cross finished runner-up at (+143) 711, followed by Mount Vernon Nazarene (+149) 717 and Indiana-Kokomo (+151) 719.
The Saints Classic victory marks a strong finish to the fall season for Huntington, as the Foresters will now look to build on the success as they prepare for spring competition.
