Miller Earns CL Golfer of the Week Nod
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Freshman standout Magnolia Miller has been named the Crossroads League Golfer of the Week following her stellar performance at the Fall Classic at Harbor Shores last week.
The Greenwood, Ind., native continued her impressive debut season by taking medalist honors, topping the field of 25 golfers with rounds of 79 and 76 on the par-72, 6,000-yard course at the Golf Club at Harbor Shores. Her consistent play helped guide the Foresters to a second-place team finish in the five-team field.
Miller's victory at Harbor Shores marks yet another highlight in her impressive freshman campaign. The rookie sensation has now earned All-Tournament honors at all four of HU's fall invitationals.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
