Miller, Copeland Lead HU to Podium Finish in Season Debut
RICHMOND, Ind. - The Huntington women's golf team opened the 2025 fall season on a high note, finishing third out of 12 teams at the IU East Fall Invitational over the weekend at Highland Lake Golf Club in Richmond. The Foresters turned in a 54-over-par 630, just eight strokes out of first place, after carding a 316 on Friday and following with a 314 on Saturday.
Coach Patrick Davis' squad was led by a pair of freshmen in Magnolia Miller (154) and Aniyah Copeland (156), who both finished inside the top ten of the 68-golfer field to secure All-Tournament Team honors.

The host IU East Red Wolves won the event with a 622, followed by Grace (628), Huntington (630), Saint Mary-of-the-Woods (631), Trine (643), Alma (684), Hanover (687), Grace B (688), Shawnee State (727), Fisk, Defiance (748), and Earlham (767).

The Foresters are back in action September 8-9 for the Pretty Lake Intercollegiate to be held at Pretty Lake Golf Club in Plymouth, Ind.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 181 NAIA All-America honors and 631 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
