Raby’s Hot Start Garners Crossroads League Honors

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Huntington junior Liv Raby has been named the Crossroads League Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Raby, a 6-1 center, opened the 2025–26 campaign in dominant fashion, posting back-to-back double-doubles to help the Foresters to a pair of season-opening wins over East-West and St. Mary-of-the-Woods.

Across the two games, Raby averaged 12.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per outing, anchoring both ends of the floor for Huntington.

This marks the first Crossroads League Player of the Week honor of the season for women's basketball and the first of Raby's collegiate career. Raby and the Foresters now turn their attention to the Patriot Classic, hosted by the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.), where they'll face No. 25 Cumberlands on Thursday and Lindsey Wilson on Friday.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 181 NAIA All-America honors and 631 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations.
