Farr Clears Program Record, Tabbed CL Field Athlete of the Week

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Freshman standout Caleb Farr has been named the Crossroads League Men's Field Athlete of the Week after a record-breaking performance to open the outdoor season.

Farr claimed first place in the pole vault at the IWU Polar Bear Classic, clearing 4.80 meters in his outdoor debut. The mark not only secured the win but also provisionally qualified him for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships.

In addition to the national qualifying standard, Farr's vault set a new Huntington University program record, continuing an already impressive first year for the rookie.

Farr's outdoor success builds on a strong indoor campaign in which he also set the program record and earned All-American honors with a seventh-place finish at the NAIA Indoor National Championships earlier this month.

Farr and the Foresters will return to action on April 2 at the Indiana Tech Open.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 181 NAIA All-America honors and 631 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations. Huntington has a top quartile ranking in the 2026 U.S. News Best Regional Universities Midwest Rankings.
