Huntington men notch NAIA marks at Indiana Tech, IWU

Fort Wayne & Marion, Ind. – The Huntington University men's indoor track & field team competed at two meets over February 6–7, opening the weekend at the Indiana Tech Orange & Black Meet before closing at the Indiana Wesleyan Indoor. Across both competitions, the Foresters turned in multiple podium finishes, an NAIA B standard, and consistent performances across sprints, middle distance, distance, and field events.

Junior Sam Handerson highlighted the weekend in the short sprints, while the distance and relay groups added valuable depth and a qualifying mark. Huntington also showed strength in the field events, particularly in the throws and jumps, as the team continues to build momentum heading into February.
