Foresters Take Seventh at Stonehenge; Webb Shines with Round-of 70

Winona Lake, Ind. – The Huntington men's golf team wrapped up play at the 2025 Stonehenge Invitational Tuesday, finishing seventh with a 36–hole team score of 626 (+58) at Stonehenge Golf Club. 

HU posted rounds of 312 (+28) and 314 (+30) for the two–day event. 

Freshman Steven Webb led the way, rebounding from an opening 81 (+10) with a stellar 70 (–1) in Round 2 — the Foresters' lone under–par round of the tournament. His two–round total of 151 (+9) was good for an individual finish of 12th place.  

Carter Hall finished tied for 14th with steady rounds of 74 (+3) and 78 (+7) for 152 (+10). Cooper Trigg carded 75 (+4) and 81 (+10) to finish at 156 (+14). Mason Reeves (167, +25) and Josh Kling (169, +27) rounded out Huntington's scoring. 

Taylor captured the team title with a score of 583 (+15), while Taylor's "B" squad finished runner–up at 596 (+28). Grace took third with 600 (+32), while Spring Arbor and Thomas More tied for fourth with 615 (+47). Mount Vernon Nazarene followed in sixth with 621 (+53), just five strokes ahead of Huntington. Grace "B" and Saint Francis closed out the team scoring with eighth and ninth respectively.

The Foresters return to action October 20–21 at the Saints Classic, hosted at Warren Golf Course in Notre Dame, Ind.
