Johnson Continues Dominant Season with Weekly Recognition
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – For the second time this season, senior Kaden Johnson has been named the Crossroads League Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
Johnson powered No. 19 Huntington past Goshen and Taylor with dominant performances on both ends of the floor. The 6-11 forward averaged 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 0.5 steals per game defensively, while pulling down 15.5 total rebounds per contest. He added 15.0 points and 4.0 assists per game and posted double-doubles in both outings.
In addition to his two Defensive Player of the Week honors, Johnson has also been named Crossroads League Offensive Player of the Week four times this season.
Johnson and the Foresters host Saint Francis on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. with Senior Day festivities taking place prior to tip-off.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
