Johnson Earns Third CL Offensive Player of the Week Praise

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Kaden Johnson keeps adding hardware. The Huntington senior has been named the Crossroads League Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week following his dominant performance in the Foresters' 85–78 win over Spring Arbor this past weekend.

Johnson was nearly flawless from the floor, missing just one shot while going 10-for-11 en route to a 20-point outing. The 6-foot-11 forward did damage on both ends, pulling down seven rebounds, handing out three assists and swatting three shots to anchor Huntington's third straight win.

The honor marks Johnson's third CL Offensive Player of the Week award this season, adding to a résumé that already includes a Defensive Player of the Week nod in December. His consistency and efficiency have been key to Huntington's success as the Foresters sit at 15–5 overall and 6–4 in Crossroads League play.

Johnson and the Foresters will look to keep the momentum rolling Wednesday when they travel to Mount Vernon for a 5:00 p.m. tip-off with the Cougars.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 181 NAIA All-America honors and 631 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations. Huntington has a top quartile ranking in the 2026 U.S. News Best Regional Universities Midwest Rankings.
