Bio

After spending three years as the graduate assistant, Langston Ginder is currently the program's mental health coach. Ginder has a long-standing connection to the Forester baseball program having served as HU’s starting second baseman for four years before stepping to the sidelines. 

Ginder was a linchpin in Huntington’s recent success. During his time in Forester Green, the program averaged over 32 wins per season. He holds the HU career record for RBI with 156 as well as five single season records which includes runs (56), RBI (68), walks (43), stolen bases (36) and games played (56). Ginder’s HU resume also includes earning NAIA Second Team All-American praises as well as a pair of All-Conference accolades.

Upon graduation, Ginder played professionally for two years. After a brief stop with the Great Falls Voyagers in the Pioneer League, he spent the majority of is professional career spent with the Florence Y'alls.

Ginder graduated from Huntington with degrees in Psychology and Christian Ministries. He also holds his master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from HU. He and his wife Ana reside in Fort Wayne where she runs a full-time photography business.
